History:

Thomas Casaway was born to a mining father. His mother die during childbirth and his father raised him the best he could, on his own. He often took Thomas to visit the mines and often dove into the tight spots the larger miners could not reach. It was hard and miserable work, but Thomas willingly helped his father. It was preferable to staying at home, by himself. When Thomas was sixteen, his father died from black lung and he lived with his friend, Eamon McCormick. He joined the IFM along with Eamon after a terrible mine collapse and a riot.
