Name: Eoin McGill
Birth Date (as of 1826): Janus 29th, 1783
Not much is known about McGill because of Kingsley's purge, but we know that he was born in the Killbraugha and at the age of fifteen traveled to Shiva to work at the, then, McClean's Tavern. He saved most of his wages and taught himself how to read and write before joining the KLA in 1803. It seems that he may have been one of the only survivors of the president's assassination attempt-many claim by selling out Collins and the others. This did not prevent him from being drafted into the Killer army. McGill fought in the Battle of Trippé and bought McClean's Tavern after the war. He redecorated it and tried to keep his head down. Shivians often bothered him and asked him questions about rumors of the KLA returning to its former glory, but there is no direct evidence that he ever told them anything. Many historians feel that the rumors of being a turncoat are true simply because Heron Massie never did business with him-despite being KLA members together previously and fighting together in the same unit-and Kingsley sees fit only to mention him so he could connect him with spying for the Shivians. Other historians also question why McGill was the only Killer who owned and ran a tavern in all of Shiva if he wasn't a spy, but historian, Henry Lee, argues that there were plenty of Killers who fought during the First Shadow War who were able to own and run businesses as long as they did not overtly interact with the KLA or the IFM. Because the Shivians have sealed their records regarding the Killer-Shivian War for another fifty years, we still cannot confirm whether or not he was a spy.
