Ahshralism
This is mostly an Alkahoon and Bhukha believe system. They believe that man was created by the arachnids as slaves and a food source and thus they meant nothing to the universe. Then, one day, the Twelve, also known as the original gods, came to the desert:
1. Wahead (male)-king of the gods and protector of mankind. Human in form
2. Olme (female)-queen of the gods and Wahead’s wife. Human in form. She is made of seafoam and sometimes creatures of the sea
3. Hyet (male)-Wahead’s brother and current ruler of Heaven. He is a dog head god. Also takes the form of a crane
4. Ayekade (male)-welcomes and judges the dead. He is a vulture god
5. Thanda (female)-recorder of past, present, and future.
6. Maurah (Female)-tries to restore the balance between order and chaos. She maintains the scales
7. Hikma (male)-frog god and protector of the Mizari. He leads the dead into the afterlife
8. Kara (female)-lionness and protector of the Fengal Oasis and that Meerkas Jungle
9. Amanzi (female)-goddess of the sun who chases Yel. When they meet, they create an eclipse
10. Yel (male)-god of the moon who chases Amanzi. When they meet, they create an eclipse.
11. Ilkaph (male)-A hint of Mordred working into their religion. He is the god of darkness and decay.
12. Arzu (female)-A hint of Death working into their religion. Ilkaph’s counterpart, goddess of plagues and famines, but also protector of the sick and starving
The twelve push the Arachnids deep into the Bhukha and protected the Indariums and taught them how to make cities, cultivate land, and live in peace and prosperity. Each god and goddess picked their favorite Indariums and created the twelve tribes that would create the Alkahoon Empire and would be the twelve tribes that were the most loyal to Karif.
Twelve Tribes
1. Ayaki tribe=Ayekade
2. Yansiz tribe=Yel
3. Karanlik tribe=Kara
4. Ilkabith tribe=Ilkaph
5. Akrep tribe=Arzu
6. Madaka tribe=Maurah
7. Abasi tribe=Wahead
8. Basarali tribe=Thanda
9. Pattini tribe=Hyet
10. Kazdum tribe=Hikma
11. Ankaboot tribe=Olme
12. Zarrati tribe=Amanzi
These tribes would be known as the first Twelve and they believe they are the purest in the Ignis and should rule the desert as direct descendants of the gods. Obviously, this causes problems in the desert for the other tribes.
As the gods lived with the humans, they took human lovers and had demi-gods. They had hundreds of them, but the ten most important demi-gods were:
1. Nezaket
2. Sadaket
3. Saygi
4. Huzur
5. Cesri
6. Namus
7. Adalet
8. Kadro
9. Karar
10. Durzu.
These demi-gods, discontented with being second best, lured a number of Indariums away and created the following tribes:
1. Ukufaza tribe=Durzu
2. Nisarta tribe=Namus
3. Tharot tribe=Adalet
4. Brahami tribe=Cesri
5. Risveta tribe=Nezaket
6. Vyakta tribe=Sadaket
7. Jathra tribe=Huzur
8. Aranya tribe=Saygi
9. Sramoli tribe=Kadro.
10. Kartavya tribe=Karar
These tribes made the Sundara Empire and are Sargon’s most loyal tribes. They are known as the Tainted Tribes and are despised by the tribes of the old Alkahoon kingdom. The desert has always been torn apart by these two empires (the Sundara and the Alkahoon) and their rivalry will always threaten peace and stability in the region.
At first, there was peace, but the demi-gods grew greedy and corrupt. Adalet changed his form into that of a serpent god and created winged serpents known as the Arifundi and sent them before his armies to conquer lands belonging to the gods while Nezaket tamed the Arachnids and turned himself into an eight legged, fanged Arachnid god. Both Adalet and Nezaket turned their best warriors into serpent and arachnid creatures and sent them to fight the armies of the gods. They did not see why they should be considered second best just because they were created last. The gods fought back and their great war engulfed the land and turned into the barren wasteland it is. The war ended by Wahead, the greatest of the gods, striking Adalet down in the Yanakuja and cutting him into fifty pieces and scattering his remains throughout the desert. Once they won their victory, Wahead and the gods decided that the Indariums were not ready for them. They had come hoping to grant immortality and godhood to the Indarium people and fond them wanting. Instead of risking more uprising from the demi-gods, the gods killed them all, except for remaining nine (who fled and hid) and the gods withdrew from the world. Only Wahead stayed behind. He wandered into the Yanakuja (the most inhospitable part of the desert and home to the arachnids and Arifundi) and swore to wait until an Indarium worthy of being a god found him. When they met, they would meet for three days and Wahead would reveal all to this man and the gods would return and bring Heaven to Terra with them and man would be granted immortality.
The prophecy goes as such:
“When the one who has heard Wahead speak unites the desert and the land of water opens its arms to Hell and cleanses it of sin and debauchery than the gods will return and bring Heaven with them.”
Their holy book is called the Kuljaz and it’s like the Quran in the sense that it is preserved orally.
Macna-a journey taken every twelve years by the purest of Indariums to enter the Iraicci Desert and find Wahead and receive his wisdom for the return of his holy kingdom on earth and the rise of the Ignis once more. The chosen Indariums are known as the Ithakras and they wear a crown made out of Arachnid legs on their journey.
This religion doesn’t have priests, although it does recognize the elder of the village as Father and it is expected that he will know the words of Wahead by heart. However, this religion does not need temples or priests. It is an individual religion that relies on communities to understand Wahead’s will. Once the Ithakras meets Wahead, they will unite and be organized by Wahead himself. Until then, they’re more solitary and the strength of their religion relies on their followers preserving the religion without an organized cadre of priests or temples. As the Shivians invaded, they started using centers as places to gather and worship together, but this is a new development
